Prolifics Looks to “Inspire Inclusion” for IWD 2024

International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024 is Friday, March 8, and is “a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.” IWD marks both the progress made in gender equality and the work that still remains. 

This year’s theme is “Inspire Inclusion” – meaning to celebrate diversity and empowerment not only on IWD, but throughout the year. Per the IWD site: 

“When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Collectively, let’s forge a more inclusive world for women.” 

Women in technology has long been a subject of attention and study and is certainly important to a company like Prolifics. Current statistics have women making up about a third of the tech-related workforce; at Prolifics that number is higher, with more than 40 percent.
